Over the next 3 weeks Move America Forward, the nation’s largest pro-troop organization, will travel to 40 cities across America holding pro-troop events and collecting over 100,000 Christmas, Hanukkah and holiday greeting cards that we will deliver to our troops serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. We’ll deliver the final batch to our troops in Iraq in person on Christmas day. We need your help – right now as you read this note there are approximately 200,000 U.S. troops serving on the frontlines in the war on terrorism in Iraq and Afghanistan. These brave military men and women are serving in harm’s way to ensure our nation’s security and to protect our freedoms, just as countless veterans have done before them. Regretfully, there are some in this nation who are not letting up one bit in their anti-troop and anti-military attacks, but we will NOT allow them to dishonor our troops during this holiday season! Move America Forward is launching a giant national pro-troop effort to rally the American people behind our troops and their missions: the “Honoring Our Heroes at the Holidays Tour.” This will be a costly effort and we are asking for you to support our efforts to show we care about them and are thinking of them during the holiday season. Would you please support this effort by making a donation to the “Honoring Our Heroes at the Holidays” program – DONATE HERE.
There’s an important need for this effort. In just the past few weeks we’ve seen the following shameful acts directed against our troops:
We’re not going to sit back and allow these people to defame our troops – especially not during the holidays! We’re asking you to support us in our efforts with a financial contribution to help pay for the costs of busses, gas, permits for rallies, and our travel to Iraq. You can contribute online – RIGHT HERE. Three American heroes are leading the national effort to fight back against the anti-war crowd’s attacks on our troops. They will give up time with their families, friends and loved ones and be away from home during the holidays to lead this national pro-troop “Honoring Our Heroes at the Holidays Tour.”
When the “Honoring Our Heroes at the Holidays Tour” arrives in Washington, D.C. we will host a musical concert for our wounded warriors from Walter Reed Medical Center and Bethesda Naval Hospital. The concert, “A Song for Their Service” will feature a collection of accomplished singers and songwriters who will treat these injured warriors to a special holiday performance to let them know how much we care about them and appreciate their service to this nation.
The final stop for the “Honoring Our Heroes at the Holidays Tour” will be an event at the World Trade Center Grounds – as we stop to remember those lives lost in the awful attack against our nation on September 11, 2001 – and recognize the service of our military men and women who are doing everything they can to ensure that another such attack against our nation does not happen again. Move America Forward is a non-profit pro-troop organization that relies on the support of individual Americans like you. We face organizations in the anti-military lobby such as MoveOn.org that are well-funded by billionaires such as George Soros. This trip will cost our organization hundreds of thousands of dollars by the time we’ve traveled across the nation and then on to Iraq. We need your support to pay for all the expenses we will incur along the way. Can you please contribute to this effort? Either a small contribution of $25 or $50 or perhaps a more generous contribution of $100, $250, $500, $1,000 or more? There are no contribution limits and your donations are tax-deductible! And finally, please come to one of our pro-troop rallies and bring Christmas, Hanukkah or holiday greeting cards for our troops.
