MY LATEST EMAIL TO THE IDIOTS IN D. C.

I oppose the proposed deal for $15 billion in bailout for the auto industry because these people should learn how to manage the money they have.  How many arrived for the first meeting via a private jet?  You all know what these planes cost.  How many of these CEOs make over 20 million dollars a year?  Now you want to give them taxpayer money to ” SAVE ” them?  Are you out of your collective minds?  Let me ask you this, Who is next?   What industry gets bailed out by the taxpayer next?  The Oil industry?  Gas prices have dropped drastically in the last month and a half.  Those folks arn’t making the astronomical profits they were making.  Is the Supermarket business next?  Have you seen the price of beef lately?  I have first hand knowledge of this as I work in the industry.

I could go on with this forever, but I haven’t had my coffee yet.  Look, the bottom line is, you people want to bail out industry when the real problem is the public doesn’t have the money to spend on products and services.  Why?  That is really simple, we’re paying way to much for food, healthcare, energy, public servants, ( you guys ) and just about everything else.    God knows how many  Americans are in the same boat.  Why bail out a symptom of the problem when you can fix the problem by putting the money in the hands of the American people?
