GOPUSA – The Loft
After eight years in office, President Bush bids farewell to the presidency this week and returns to private life. His two terms in office will be studied for years, and his true legacy will not be known for some time.
There was much President Bush did with which I disagreed, and I will primarily leave that for another time. For now, I’d like to reflect on a date that transformed America… a date that moved America from a nation in mourning to a nation on the mend… a date that helped turn American grief into American resolve: September 20, 2001.
