Remember former Minnesota Sen. Paul Wellstone? Shortly before Election Day in 2002, while running for reelection against challenger Norm Coleman, the plane carrying the senator crashed, and Wellstone was killed. What happened next was truly disgraceful.
His funeral turned into a shameful political rally where speakers urged attendees to defeat Republicans and the causes they stand for. Now, will the media and other liberals use Sen. Edward Kennedy’s death and funeral to “guilt” America into accepting Obama’s failing health care plan? The answer… they have already started.
The health care bill of today is the same health care bill it was yesterday… and the day before… and the day before. Nothing about it has changed. It is still the one that the American people view as an overt attempt by the Obama government to seize power and take more freedom away from the American people. But now, it is becoming a whole new bill. How? By packaging it as something Ted Kennedy wanted…. So “let’s pass it in his honor.”
