BCS (Bowl Championship Series)
On Jan. 8 we will see Ohio St square off against Florida in what is sure to be a great game to determine college football’s National champion. GREAT! Except if Ohio St loses we will have the whining and crying from roughly 4 teams about how each deserves to be national champions.. Not to mention the over-analyzing of ESPN and FOX SPORTS and the interjecting of the opinions of all of their analysist. I, for one, am not looking forward to it. I’m not a fan of either squad, therefore I pretty much don’t care who wins.
Now, what I do have an interest in, is a bowl game to determine the very WORST team in division 1 college football! What I am propsing is this; Turn the bcs computers on for one last pole, feed in data from the 10 teams with the worst records to determine who plays the game. When the game is over present the LOSING team with the GOLDEN TOILET TROPHY. to honor them.
I believe this game would have widespread support among college football fans. Anyone who agrees with me, let me know and write letters, send emails and whatever else you can think of to ESPN, FOX SPORTS and any othe sports reporting entity. Hopefully, we can make this happen!
