That’s because most states require prospective gun owners to submit to extensive background checks and jump through various other hoops before they’re allowed to carry.But in the few states where constitutional carry is allowed it’s as simple as getting your gun and taking it where you please.A true expression of freedom.In what could be a groundbreaking move, Michigan has just put a series of bills on the docket to see if they can become the next state to add constitutional carry to their state’s constitution.Guns.com writes: A package of four bills was introduced to the state legislature last week that would allow for concealed carry without a permit. The companion bills brought to the state House would allow those legally able to possess a firearm in the Wolverine State to carry one concealed without having to get the now-standard $110 permit to do so from local authorities.
