Urgent!!! Horse Slaughter National Call-In Day: Tuesday 4/24
Date: Thu, 19 Apr 2007 21:59:44 -0400
Please take action! Let’s get this done.

Horse Advocates,

Horses still need our help. You have probably heard that all three U.S. Slaughterhouses are currently closed. However, we still have work to do!

At this moment —- Wild horses are still in danger. H.R.249 will reinstate protections for wild horses and burros and protect them from sale to slaughter.

At this moment —- Thousands of horses are still being shipped to plants in Mexico and Canada for slaughter. H.R.503 will ensure that the U.S. plants remain closed and that U.S. horses will NOT be shipped over international borders for the purpose of slaughter.

At this moment —- We need your help to stop the slaughter and protect American horses!

Here is what you can do!!!!!

Tuesday, April 24 2007 is a NATIONAL CALL-IN DAY.

1. Use the attached flier to promote the National Call-In day and ask Congress to “please support H.R. 249 and H.R. 503/S. 311 to protect horses from slaughter.”

2. Email the attached flier to every concerned horse advocate you know in the U.S.

3. Print the attached flier and hang it all over your town.

4. Ask every person you know to call Congress on Tuesday 4/24. The Capitol Switchboard number is 202-224-3121

P.S. You can find out who represents you in Congress at    www.hsus.org/   leglookup

  • Its by far due time to close these horse plants down that promote breeds of slaughter abuse and neglect.Things will go back to normal with out horse owners ever having to worry about there horse being stolen or sold for slaughter not knowing who a killer buyer is at the auction. Now it can be family fun to buy at auctions again. This past weekend I visit an illinois auction not seeing any killer buyers the crowd was pleasant, happy and cheerful knowing these sellout criminals are not allowed to make money for foreigners and leave us americans the blood of horses on our homeland. And to think I used to trust the USDA what I know now I will expose there sellout deeds from dogfood to human food. Its all about the bucks with them..
