POLITICAL HYSTERICAL BLINDNESS
I saw an interview with one of the liberals in Washington in which he stated that the american people last november voted in a Democrat controlled congress because we wanted an end to a war no one believed in. If that were true Joe Lieberman would not have been re-elected! Mr. Lieberman is a pro war democrat! Last november’s elections were more about CREDIBILTY than anything else! The American people got fed up with corrupt government officials, paige scandels, the whole Ambrahamoff sitiuation, and a boatload of other stuff. That’s what this election was about. If it had been solely about the war, the margins of victory would have been considerably larger. If you examine the election results, you will find the at least half a dozen races were decided by less than 5% of the vote. That is not a landslide victory or a mandate by the people. That is the people telling ALL of the idiots in Washington they need to do better. They need to stop taking and soliciting money from special interest groups, they need to stop chaceing underage paiges, they need to stop calling each other names. What they need to do is 1) develope alternative fuel plans, 2) lower taxes, 3) reduce prices of all consumer goods and services, 4) reform social security, 5) reform healthcare and make it affordable to those of us at the bottom of the food chain, 6) repair the infrastructure of this country, roads, bridges etc., 7) provide better security at our borders, 8) defend this country and its interest from foreign aggression. 9) make tougher laws against violent offenders, 10) media reform. 11) develop new farming techniques. The bottom line is, all of these issues are being completely ignored by all levels of government. Its all being shoved to the backburner because of Irag! The democrats want you to believe they care about you when, in reality all they care about is serving their liberal agenda. The President wants you to believe he wants to keep America safe and for her to prosper. America can not be safe if our military is thinly spread thoughout the world. America can not prosper by the government spreading so much of our time, money and resources fighting to restore order to a country whose government and people won’t lift a finger to help itself! When will there be a focus on AMERICA and her people?
What this country needs is a group of people dedicated to serving the interests of America and her people. If you look at the current list of Presidential candidates, no one catches your eye. So far, every one of them is running to serve his or her own purpose. Someone must step out of the shadows and save this country from its current crop of “public servants” before they kill us all either in another country’s civil war, or by starving us because we can’t afford to buy food, or freeze to death because we can’t afford to heat our homes. You get the point.
