9/11: NEVER FORGET!
We are nearly six years removed from the worst terrorist attack in the history of America. In case anyone has forgotten, on September 11, 2001, 4 commercial airplanes were hijacked by 19 arab terrorists. Two of those planes were flown at high speed into the Towers of the World Trade Center in New York. The third plane was flown into the Pentagon in Washington D. C. The fourth plane was flown into a field outside Pittsburgh, Pa. by its passengers who, after hearing what had happened in New York and Washington, decided to rush the hijackers and retake the plane before they could kill more innocent people. They are heroes. Only God knows how many lives they saved by sacrificing themselves.
Almost immediately after the attacks, the finger pointing started. Why? Simply put, in this country. for reasons I am oblivious too, we can not hold the people who perpetuated this atrocity responsible for murdering nearly 3000 people. Again, WHY? There are those who say we are at fault because of the freedoms we have. Others say it is because we are not ” European friendly “, meaning , we do not cater to the whims of the Europeans, particularly the French and the Germans. Let me make this perfectly clear, ARAB TERRORISTS ( specifically, a group called Al-queda) are responsible for the 9/11 attacks! Not George Bush, Not Bill Clinton, the CIA, the FBI, the U. S. Border patrol, Santa Klaus, the Tooth Fairy, or the Easter Bunny! ARAB FREAKIN TERRORISTS!
There are people in this country who, for some unknown reason, believe the 9/11 attacks were planned and executed by ” ROGUE ELEMENTS OF THE AMERICAN GOVERNMENT ” specifically, Vice President Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld and others. I’m not going to bore you with the details, as I have touched upon this subject in a previous post called ” 9/11: THE BLOG CONSPIRACY “, basically, these people believe missiles were fired from the planes as they approached the towers in order to cover for the explosions that were happening in the interior of the buildings due to the explosives set by the conspirators, ( Cheney, Rumsfeld, and their cronies ) in order to have an excuse to invade the Middleast. Thats the short version. Now, I don’t expect whoever reads this to blindly agree with my assessment of the so-called evidence of 9/11 being set up by rogue elements of this government. I would ask that you look at these glaring facts: 1) An operation of this magnitude would have to require the involvement of hundreds of people. 2) Not one of the people that would have to be involved has come forward to confirm any part of the rhetoric being spewed by the conspiracy theorists, translated, there our no witnesses. 3) These theorists provide a boatload of scientific data about the melting point of steel, however, they fail to consider all other environmental factors. 4) Without a witness, all of this so-called evidence amounts to nothing more than conjecture and speculation.
Nearly 3000 people were slaughtered by these animals. Think about that. Now, think about this, every time some person ( believe me that was not the word I wanted to use ) writes or says something that perpetuates these ridiculous theories they tarnish the memories and the lives of those people that perished. This sad group of conspiracy theorists cheapens the lives of those people, WHY? WHAT PURPOSE DOES THIS SERVE?
