TAX RETURNS

Posted by highlysuspect on April 15, 2007 in politics, The Rantings of MEN!, Will's articles |

I just spent two hours fileing my tax returns.  TWO HOURS!  There has to be a way to make it simpler and less of a pain in the nadds than it is!  (Short of paying some number crunching accountant to do it).  It’s my day off!  I do enough paperwork at my job!  Plus, the IRS, the State of PA, and the borough of Dunmore do not make it an easy thing to do!  There should be an office somewhere that combines w-2S from multiple jobs in order to simplify the process.  But, it is the government, and these morons pay $2400.00 for a freakin hammer.  So , there’s no way they’ll ever simplify this mess.  They simply don’t have the cognitive development, or mentality to use the resources they have at their disposal.

There you go Kathy, this should further your argument about what men bitch about.

You know, technically you don’t have to pay taxes. It’s not a law.

  • amathy says:

it is the law and it criminally punishable if you do not pay your taxes and you make over a certain amount of money

    check it out

btw it is a pain the butt, I do ours and my mother in laws every year, and my brother in law was hinting around that i do his, the other day and no way in hell, my husband said charge him $30 and do it, but no way. the worst part is people pay $50+ for a program or for h&r block to do their taxes, when they don’t realize that they can read that stupid book and do it themselves, i like my money i am not payng anyone to screw up my taxes, when i can screw them up on my own! ha. Anyway upon further research the Federal Reserve act of 1913 and the 16th ammendment are what bind us by law to pay our taxes, im not sure if that bit from the irs website referred to that.

  • Jensmar says:

yeah, i know it’s punishable by law if you don’t pay them. kinda strange that there’s no law that says you have to pay them, but there’s one that says you get in trouble if you don’t. ew, and i’m gonna have to pay u.s.taxes when i’m living in japan…well, that’s what they say, but i’m not gunna do it. neener neener noo nooo

Amy, I did my taxes online for free throgh H and R Blocks website via the IRS website. I think thats why it was a pain in the ass.

Charge our brother in law $75.00 and takes out for drinks!

  • Jensmar says:

    nope gotta pay

  • amathy says:

Yeah, i should charge him $75,its funny right after i commented here my sister in law left a message, as if their ears were ringing, and I aint calling her back guaranteed its about their taxes, if I charged them though, i would never see the money;-[.

  • Kathy says:

I think it’s funny we have to pay money on something they already took money from us for…
so if you actually sit and think about it how many times do we get charged for the same thing.
and yes we do pay to work if you really think about it.
pretty insain if you ask me,…..

Write our congressman. The only way to effect change in this country, let them know we’re fed up, and we’re not gonna take it anymore!
